What is Alternative Spring Break?
The Alternative Spring Break Program (ASB) is a co-curricular opportunity that places a group of Brescia women in an international community to experience and gain awareness of the culture, challenges and community development projects in existence. Today is an exciting time to get involved and make a difference in the world. International volunteers are ambassadors of change who represent hope, goodwill, and commitment; reflecting a new type of leadership.
Why should I participate?
By participating in the Alternative Spring Break Program you can join the international movement and positively increase your knowledge of what is happening in the Dominican Republic right now. The Student Life Centre is excited to be partnering with Rayjon Share Care again during the 2013 February Academic Break to help Brescia students increase their international awareness, including experiencing issues first-hand such as literacy, poverty, hunger, homelessness, sustainable development, and the environment.
