This flagship service provides full-text documents from over 5,600 news, business, legal, medical, and reference publications with a variety of flexible search options. Areas of interest include: National and regional newspapers, wire services, broadcast transcripts, international news, and non-English language sources U.S. Federal and state case law, codes, regulations, legal news, law reviews, and international legal information Shepard’s® Citations for all U.S. Supreme Court cases back to 1789 Business news journals, company financial information, SEC filings and reports, and industry and market news.

Updates are continuous and the most current issues of some magazines are available as soon as they are published.

Canadian Foreign Relations Index

Compiled by the John Holmes Library, the CFRI covers Canadian and foreign material on Canada’s foreign relations, defense, economic relations, foreign aid, international law, and international environmental concerns, from 1945 to the present. With over 47,000 French and English references, the CFRI has been described as “essential for collections supporting international relations and Canadian Studies programs.

The Gender Studies Database combines NISC’s popular Women’s Studies International and Men’s Studies databases with the coverage of sexual diversity issues. Relevant contributions from NISCs Child Development & Adolescent Studies as well as Family & Society Studies Worldwide databases are added in order to round out the coverage of related disciplines. GSD covers the full spectrum of gender-engaged scholarship inside and outside academia. Several thousand links to freely available and indexed full-text articles and documents on the web are available. Source documents include professional journals, conference papers, books, book chapters, government reports, discussion and working papers, theses & dissertations and other sources. Several hundred links provide access to carefully selected and important websites.

North American Women’s Letters and Diaries

North American Women’s Letters and Diaries includes the immediate experiences of 1,325 women and 150,000 pages of diaries and letters. Particular care has been taken to index this material so that it can be searched more thoroughly than ever before. The materials have been carefully chosen using leading bibliographies, supplemented by customer requests and more than 7,000 pages of previously unpublished material. The collection also includes biographies and an extensive annotated bibliography of the sources in the database.
